Lemon Law Attorney?

I went to a lemon law attorney and signed a contract for $4,000 to get rid of my car and get me my money. The vehicle manufacturer decided to have a out of court settlement(litigation). During the litigation, the attorney said she wants an additional $6,700 for her troubles. But, we started off with 4k on the contract.??? Now she tells me she will send a form in which I need to sign agreeing to pay $10,600 of the 14k that was promised and signed for by the manufacturer and I. Do you think there is something wrong going on? I thought we signed off for 4k and the contract says a FLAT FEE. I have not yet signed any agreements that says I am to pay 4k plus additional 6,700. Please help, I am open to any advice.
